Ethan Kawamara Mugire is a dedicated researcher and analyst holding a degree in Computer Science (BSc) with a minor in Security Informatics from Indiana University. He is pursuing a Masters in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering & Design (MSc) at the University of Bath.
Ethan investigates the intersection of technology and politics as a Programme Analyst at London Politica. On the Emergent Technologies team, Ethan inspects insightful findings on the latest trends and provides valuable guidance to clients navigating the dynamic political landscape - affirming his interests along cyber-security, AI and public policy in his work.
Ethan’s stint as a Research Assistant at the Indiana University SPICE Research Lab enabled him to hone his analytical skills and collaboratively contribute to cutting-edge research endeavours. Notably, Ethan led a team of cybersecurity analysts to develop a white paper for Cyril and Methodius University and affiliated clients assessing the feasibility of large-scale cybersecurity models on small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). He further evidenced his commitment to innovation through his involvement in the EY Open Science Data Challenge where he consolidated data on climate change, phenology curves, and vegetation indices to facilitate the building of a rice crop classification model.
