Andrew Musembi Maingi is a meticulous Finance Associate and graduate of Business Science in Financial Economics (BBS-FE) from Strathmore University. His educational and quantitative background gives him the skillset to do in depth macroeconomic, Industry and financial research, hence giving a thorough top-down view of the East African business landscape.

While interning as a Climate Policy Analyst at Alliance Bioversity International – CIAT, he helped identify funding gaps in the international climate finance complex and aid the organisation in justifying, obtain funding for and fill said gaps within their mandate.

Andrew volunteered for three months at King’s Kid’s Children’s Home, fostering teamwork and community engagement. He also led his team in the CFA Challenge, securing third place at the national level, an experience that sharpened his analytical and leadership skills. Coordinating a team of researchers, he gained expertise in financial reporting, investor pitch preparation, and in-depth market analysis. Beyond finance, Andrew enjoys jogging and reading and is driven by a vision to transform East Africa into an economic powerhouse through the growth of financial markets.
